Re: Deer Camp Traditions

cheap beer, even cheaper strippers and if you're lucky, someone gets electrocuted. ;) true story. every once and a while, someone goes hunting. on rare occasions deer are shot  Sounds like pheasant hunting in south dakota for me. And yes, there was an incident involving a couple dog collars. T...

Re: Charity Auction: STI frame with a bunch of race internals

STI short wide frame, Allchin c-more mount(I believe), SVI trigger w/flat insert STI grip safety (functions IIRC, but I always taped it down), Thumb safety works as well. Last I checked it the trigger was AROUND 2-2.5# Dawson ICE magwell, should be an oversized safety in there, I think. 3 slide rack...

Re: Okay, Oldman, spill the beans!!

Gun safety with children is a very valid subject, but I want to hear more about the party you were at, and what was said about the loaded gun being acessible, as well as how the dildo was explained... I've been blasted by other parents for my technique, but happily surprised when my 4 yr old son br...

Re: 9mm high pressure signs for beginning reloaders

Sam, just a note. Glock primers don't flatten like in the first pic, they extrude back into the firing pin slot. I forgot I was planning on letting you know that, if you didn't figure it out. But it slipped my mind. The rectangle on the primer will eventually get tall enough and blow out, or shear o...

Re: Nordic Component barrel high round count anyone?

wilson arms is not the same as wilson combat.

I have 2 wilson arms barrels on AR's in 5.56, and they have performed pretty well. I have 16" hbar, no experience with other wilson arms barrels.

Re: 10-22 target w/hammer forged bull barrel - any thoughts?

Shippy, I have a blued one if you want to give it a try. I think the scope is jacked up on it, so I would have to throw a new scope on and boresight it. You'd have to zero it with whatever ammo you use.

Re: Red or green fiber optic?

I started with red, because it came installed. Switched to try it and never looked back.

I'd suggest getting some FO and trying both. It's cheap and easy to install.
