Like others have said, start with paper targets in close. Bring home a couple to hang on the bedroom bragging wall. Being able to show this success to mom and buddies is another key to happiness.

So, is there a snowball's chance in hell that the good people of Minnesota will ever decide that folks can get concealed carry permits without spending a chunk of money and time? So, where and when are these mythical steel shoots? Are they Steel Challenge? or USPSA with lots of falling steel?

We found a home in Chanhassen and close in about 5 weeks. Probably won't be able to afford to shoot given what houses cost in the area! YIKES! After I get over the sticker/mortgage shock, where are good places to shoot (clubs, ranges, etc) and great stores in the area? Thanks all!
