Re: ATF to Require Multiple Sales Reports for Long Guns

Out of curiosity (not looking for flames) - why do we object to this? I know what its for...and I don't agree that the Mexican Hat Dance going on down there is our fault... But wouldn't it be easy enough to explain if confronted by the ATF? I have to imagine if they saw 15 AR's being purchased in a ...

Re: The Hidden Life Of Guns

Wasn't there also talk about how tracing wasn't being performed on the majority of the weapons that the Mexican military seized due to a lack of serial numbers on some/most? To the Internet!! http://www.factcheck.org/politics/counting_mexicos_guns.html Seal the border, that'll stop g...

Re: EPA and Lead Ammo Round 2

Bald eagles aren't hurting in the US -- in fact, they're a success story in species recovery due to the protection they received under various protective Acts and the banning of DDT. http://environment.about.com/b/2007/06/29/us-celebrates-recovery-of-the-american-bald-eagle.htm The minimal amount of...

Re: Shooting on public land in MN

We target shoot in an abandoned gravel pit on State Forest land in Crow Wing County. I've spoken with the local CO in the past and asked her about legally doing so - she said the same thing...its State Forest land -- or possibly tax-forfeit - either way, she wasn't concerned. She did admonish us all...

Re: Looking for Steel 55 Gallon Drums

JJH, you're correct on the "extremes" argument! :) I'll put this one out there one last time; since you admitted that burning a milk jug is pollution. Its not the single milk jug that you burn. Its the one you burn, plus the one your neighbor burns, plus all the others in MN, plus ND/SD/WI...

Re: Looking for Steel 55 Gallon Drums

I'll stick with this conversation since it's a good chance to inform, plus its what I do for a living. Global Warming was a term coined by Al Gore and Company - I completely agree that its a farce, and studies are all over the board as to the climate change occurring on the planet being man-made or ...
