Re: Glock shoot at Oakdale Gun Club

After shooting trap I walked around, hoping to see some of the competition but it was pretty much finished by the time I got done shooting. How'd you do?

Re: State Fair trouble

it would be worth the price of admission just to follow someone wearing the Wellstone shirt. Would I wear one? Probably not. Skin's too thin to get the full effect.

Re: Not Minnesota specific, but definitly political

I pretty much got a Dole also, 34. I'm ok with that. Especially when you consider the vague wording of the questions and the things that weren't asked.

Re: What's going on here, no one shooting clay targets

That sounds good to me. The reports on the last steel shoot made we determined to get to the next one.

Re: What does everyone shoot?

The first shotgun I used was a Stevens 20ga side by side. It was a borrowed gun. Since it was obvious, in spite of my Dad's complete lack of interest, that I was going to be a hunter, I got a used JC Higgins 12ga semi auto for Christmas that year. It didn't like my reloaded shells so I traded it for...

What's going on here, no one shooting clay targets

I shot for the first time since I was a kid. I think that was about the time they came out with that new smokeless powder stuff. Anyway, shot a 16 and 17 at Oakdale. Nothing to brag about, but did it with my 20 ga and had a great time. I'd like to try some sporting clays before Grouse season.

Re: ebay

knowing what I do about people, I don't think "the right thing to do" is what they're after. From information on http://www.newsmeat.com/ , Pierre Omidyar, founder and chairman of the board is heavily into Democratic politics and causes. You draw your conclusions from there.

ebay

How will the new anti gun policy at ebay affect you? Time will tell how this affects ebay. Other than a few magazines, I haven't bought any shooting related items from them. Actually, I use them very little. Many items go for prices higher than retail or other measure of common value. I've heard sev...

Re: Who hunts ? and what ?

Hunting is one of the activities that kinda fell by the wayside as I got older. Growing up in SE WI, I hunted justabout everything available in spite of having a Dad who didn't have much time for hunting. As time went on, ..... well you know the story. I got my son involved in hunting upland game. E...

Starting a new job soon, so I may not have much control over work schedule at that time but I'll try to make this one.
