Re: Precision Bullets

I went through 500 last summer. I had no issues with them other than my source (Pony Express)is no longer an option. I have been using the Red River Bullets out of HUgo and have been very happy with their price and performance.

I tried that in the past with some 45 loads and it did not work. it was a mixed lot of brass and the difference between the cases was larger than the powder load. (The connecter for the powder measure on my progressive was jumping out of the track every once and a while) I did pull all the bullets (...

I have to agree with Pinnacle that the single stage kit is the best way to start. I started at a friends that had the whole set up and was able to produce quality ammo right away. When you are starting out, expect to max out at 50 to 75 rounds per hour. Take your time and really understand not only ...

I have to agree. The only time I had a head seperation was with S and B brass. The only thing it is good for is scrap at a dollar a pound.

The thing that I like the most about the 1911 is that there is so much aftermarket stuff. It is probably the easiest gun to customize and get the look, feel, grips, sights or accuracy that you want. Be warned!! they are addictive, I am down to 4 at the moment but always looking... :mrgreen: :mrgreen...
