Re: Possible Scammer on mnguntalk

Franken charger. $200 sounds about right (maybe even high) for that as I suspect the pool of people interested is pretty slim. If he had the original stock to go with it could probably fetch more.

Re: Kool Pistol Holder

So really it's just a strong magnet and there is no reason you need to cock the gun as you remove it?

Re: ordered a new gun

When the Ronin was announced I told my local gun shop to let me know when they get a full size in 45 ACP in. Still waiting for one thanks to covid. But that's alright. Sure I could buy one online but not in a rush.

Re: Firearms price ranges

If you search Google for SAMSAW the only two hits you really get are the state statutes page (which oddly does not have SAMSAW on it) and the Gun Owners Caucus site. So I would say it's not a widely used abbreviation.

Re: Remington Asset Bid Revealed

Didn’t Federal and Vista split a few years ago? So technically Wasn’t Federal the parent company in that relationship? Federal ammunition is one of their business lines. Looks like they are taking the ammo business, not sure that is the best for the industry long term. No Vista was formed in a spli...

Re: NRA Lockton Affinity Outdoors Firearms Insurance

I have them scheduled on my homeowners. I have some scopes scheduled too. It gets scheduled for appraised value or paid value. I am probably paying somewhere around $1.75 per $100 scheduled. Never looked that close. My only issue is my custom built ARs I need to have appraised since trying to cobble...

Looking at where all the damage is I think you are right. All caused by a reloader who had a head failure.

Re: Mossberg youth bantam and mini bantam shotguns.

What about 28ga? If an over/under works there are several 26" models out there for around $500. You would have to spend a few more $$$ to shorten the stock. Realize that probably doubles your current budget though. Browning used to make a 28ga BPS Micro Midas but they seem hard to come by.

Let's hope that fancy ventilation system does not feed into the place next door then. Just made me think of Schlotzsky's in Edina. Good food but the place smells like the Firestone Auto next door.
