Springfield Armory XD9 Sub-Compact

[quote="911scanner"]Do they have any more for that price? This was the only "used" model they had. They had two brand new ones, but both models were selling for $499.99 Where at? Available to public sales? Did they have a bi-tone per chance? Glen's Army Navy Store Grand Rapids M...

Carry at the mall.

How do we get these malls to take down the signs and stop violating our right to carry in public? OR do we as card holders simply disregard the signs and shop as we please. Only to force them (mall officials and or police) to ask us to leave? Yes.. lets start harassing the mall owners to the point ...

Printable Targets

[quote="ronin069"] totally off-topic for a moment, but I went to Bill's on Friday to shoot for a bit. One of the best experiences I have ever had there. The guy behind the counter was taller, slender, and carried what looked like a long barreled .357 revolver. He could not have been more ...

Thinking of new handgun for home defense

Finally, have a handheld light with your gun and extra mags. This is so you can identify the potential threat without pointing your gun at them, just in case it turns out to be an old drunk college buddy you forgot you gave a key to. Again, the only purpose of a light in a defensive encounter is so...

Carry at the mall.

From the movie, Colors... Bob Hodges: [to his new partner] There's two bulls standing on top of a mountain. The younger one says to the older one: "Hey pop, let's say we run down there and **** one of them cows". The older one says: "No son. Lets walk down and **** 'em all". ...a...

Bersa Thunder?

I just picked up two boxes of Federal Hydro-Shock ammo for my Bersa. So I plan on carrying it concealed now. I am sure you have, but I highly recommend burning through a box of this (expensive,I know) at the range to ensure it plays well with your gun. It just would not shoot consistently with eith...

Can your 'bring your own targets' to Bill's ? Absolutely. totally off-topic for a moment, but I went to Bill's on Friday to shoot for a bit. One of the best experiences I have ever had there. Thinking of new handgun for home defense

I am a fellow-lefty. My nightstand gun is a SIG229/.40cal...(and in light of recent events has replaced my nice, light, .38 snub nose for EDC) I played with the laser for a while, and find it fun to look at, but for a home defense situation am uncomfortable with a laser on a handgun. To me, you are ...

WTT - IPhone 4 for a watch

My company recently upgraded me to an iPhone 4S, which leaves me with a near new 32gig, black, Iphone 4. (AT&T, and to be clear, this is NOT the 4S with Siri) I kept it in an Otter box so condition is near new...no noticeable scratches. I am looking for a new (well, not brand new) watch. - Prefe...

Amazing how those firearms just go off...

Any bets on how this guy was carrying his gun? I can't honestly think of any way that a properly holstered firearm would discharge from a hug... even one from behind. I'm wondering if it wasn't one of those t-shirts with the built-in holsters. I could see how the fabric could get caught in the trig...

Open Carry Litter Clean Up & Friendly Gathering

Oh for F's sake...video and cameras? After many years of lurking these two boards and dipping my toe into "movement" waters, the number one lesson I have learned is that stratigic patience has made this a pretty good state to carry a firearm in and tactical-like contingency plans for event...

Bersa Thunder?

Heaviest of sighs. I had the .380 with crimson trace laser grip.
Too bad it piped and jammed more than it fired. Had the same trouble with my Walther .380, which I sold to get the Bersa. If fired it clean, dirty, wet, dry, assorted ammo. I give up...young back to the 9mm XD-SC for summer carry.
