Re: Win 22 Cal 64 gr PP

The three sources I checked for COL listed 2.20 when I measured while getting the bullet depth I got 2.21 so that should be good. I haven't chambered a dummy round yet, but I will this afternoon.

Win 22 Cal 64 gr PP

Ok so I got some 64 gr PP bullets from win, and some benchmark, plenty of empty 5.56 cases that have been preped and some small rifle primers. I set the bullet depth and crimp which was a pain the arse (most likely to me not doing it right) But I don't have any load data for this combo Closest I can...

Re: National ASK Day

It's sad when something that is obviously a good idea in general is poo-poo'd for political reasons. Isn't knowing what your kid is doing Parenting 101? I don't have any spawn, so can't really say for sure. But it seems like it should be a pretty basic function of raising demons. I just threw up in...

Re: National ASK Day

The idea on the surface isn't bad, parents are responsible for their kids. The problem is the underlining message with how it is being presented.

Re: National ASK Day

In my neighborhood, the question is not "if" the question is "what kind?"

Can't let the kids play with kids who parents have Glocks :D

I've read that it isn't recommended to tumble loaded ammo, I'm assuming you haven't had any issues?

Re: Die Parts

Looks similar to RCBS pins, the ones I have for .223 have a 0.139" diameter "nub" at the top and are 0.722" long.

Re: .357 Hand loads for Deer.

Another thing is the powder measure itself. The powder metering assembly that came with my LnL wasn't very consistent with small charges (i.e. handgun loads) the Lock-N-Load Powder Measure Handgun Rotor and Metering Assembly helped for consistency in the charges.

Re: .357 Hand loads for Deer.

Along the lines of the GS-1500 being a piece, for hot/max loads is it recommended that each round is individually weighed?

Wish I could a swiped on of the scales I used in upper level chem classes in college.

Confidence

How many batches, or how long were you reloading before you felt "ok" letting someone else shoot your reloads? I know my first batch worked (just as accurate as the factory I had been shooting as far as I can tell) I just don't know if I want someone else shooting them (safety thing, not l...

Customer Service

Is it just me or is customer service in the firearm industry way better than average (excluding Gander at most locations and times). Just got off the phone with RCBS, it was just "Hello I how can I help you?" then just name and address, didn't even need to admit it was most likely my fault.
