Re: Rifle sight in location?

I wonder if anyone has a recommendation on where I can go to check the zero on my deer rifle this weekend. 308 at 100 yards. I'm in the south metro-Eagan. Thanks in advance. Yukon, if you get into a bind again, ping me and we’ll head to Post435 range….I’m in Eagan too and it takes me 27 min to get ...

Re: Bad RCBS die? Or Go/No-Go Gauge? Or....?

The "gage" in the picture above is not in a headspace gage, it's a Wilson case holder for their case trimmer. It's suppose to fit tightly, so the case doesn't spin. https://media.mwstatic.com/product-images/src/Primary/966/966918.jpg?imwidth=680 Let's see, where's the emoj...

Re: Bad RCBS die? Or Go/No-Go Gauge? Or....?

Thanks for the gouge on the bases. RCBS has a "small base" sizing die and they describe it like this: The Small Base Sizer Die is for bottleneck type cases used in tight-chambering semi-automatic, pump or lever-action firearms. So if I plan on using some of the cases in my Garand and the o...

Bad RCBS die? Or Go/No-Go Gauge? Or....?

I recently came into a bunch of .30-06 casings -Rem, Win, LC, etc, some marked "once fired". I proceeded to punch primers (handheld) then tumbled them clean. I primed them (handheld Lee auto-primer), then thought I best drop them into a go/no-go gauge (I have an older LE Wilson gauge). Int...

‘Houston, we might have a problem’ (service rifle loads)

I’m learning a lot about reloading and before I go further I need some gouge on my loads- I trimmed and primed LC brass (Wolf gold primers); I’m making a batch for 200yrd service rifle and am using 52gr Hornady Match HPBT. But- thinking I’d use up some powder floating around- IMR-4064- I get a recip...

Glock rear sight tool (still) needed

I have a G24 and although the adjustable sight feature is nice, I have hi-vis sights I want to install. Front sight is easy, but I don't want to just hammer out/in a new rear. Anyone have an install tool? Thanks, (I'm on the south metro side) 20221213 Update: Am still in need of one. (Oldman had som...
