Re: Altor Pistol

It reminds me of if someone marketed a tube as a drinking glass. All you have to do is use one hand to create a bottom and you have a poorly functioning cup.

Re: Hero mom saves the day, killing gunman outside school

Well that's one reason I've never pursued a career or hobby in kidnapping. I'm glad no one else got hurt , there was plenty of opportunity for collateral damage.

Re: 2019 Service Rifle Clinic

Thanks to Rip and the volunteers for putting this on. I learned a ton and really enjoyed it. If anyone is considering ever going.....just go. I appreciate how you taught both "universal fundamentals" things that are more specific to an individual. I had no idea how to work the targets in t...

Re: Slo-Mo Tank & Artillery Rounds

The end reminds me of people saying a 30-30 win is a good brush gun (not due to it's convenient size and maneuverability). Maybe it was only a common thing to tell others in northern Minnesota? Maybe they can blow through brush...but a watermelon deflecting a projectile that big so much....wow!

Re: Texas homeowner shoots, kills 3 men and injures 2

I was on a few flights this week. The lines were really short (tsa agents said they were longer in the morning until 10am). Even with declaring a firearm I cruised through. My checked bag got stopped at the x-rays and I was worried a handgun mag was in one of the 50 pockets. It was Gatorade and they...

Re: S&W M&P

I checked a mp9 and a mp9 pc. They were either flush or slightly recessed.

Re: Cops hesitate - it costs them

Well that was uncomfortable to watch. The comments section made it sound like the guy who fled is now in court. Do you know how the leo's ended up?

Re: 300 black out won't chamber

Yesterday I finally just went out to Cabelas and bought a carbine gas tube and pulled off the hand guard. It was quickly apparent the roll pin missed going into the original tube. I didn't need to buy the another gas tube for 20 bucks that was the same side. The tube was pretty snug in my fancy adju...

Re: 300 black out won't chamber

It turns out a longer gas tube snuck into the assembly. It's hitting the bcg and the space between the rim of the case and barrel is normal (I've never noticed how far they stick out for the extractor). I'll switch out the gas tube and no one will know I'm a dummy except those who read this. (Mods d...

Re: 300 black out won't chamber

Even if I punch the forward assist it won't push any factory load I have of 300bo or 223 in the last quarter of an in. I usually subscribe to the "don't use FWD assist to ram a round in, just eject it" but i tried it here. It sounds like I will have to be involved in my least two favorite ...
