Re: One-day seminar with Lt Col Dave Grossman

I followed the link for information about this event. But it didn't say if Lt Col Grossman will be presenting this in person. Anyone know if he will be there, or will this be a videotape?

Re: Dem bill would trigger huge new taxes on guns, ammo

I blame the Doctors who delivered the anti gun people. I figure that they all were born with their heads up their asses and the Doctors couldn't extract the head, thus causing all of us normal people nothing but problems. How else could a person be that stupid. Eric :evil: :evil: :evil: Another elo...

Re: Desantis Intimidator Holster.

Nice rig.

Just noticed your sig line, and I think that it's a little off. I've seen it as;

"Amateurs train until they get it right... Professionals train until they can't get it wrong"

Unless, of course, I missed the irony intended in your rendition.

Re: New gal to the group

Welcome! This can be a good place to learn about guns and safety. Suggest that you consider the Steel Shoots this summer. Great opportunity to learn and practice skills. Plus Benny and China are great coaches. :)

Re: Is the panic over?

Well, reloads may be quality, but I have some issues with them: 1) I KNOW my new brass casing in my new ammo hasn't been used, and when it is, it will be used once by me, but with reloads, I don't have any idea how many times the same casing has been used. 2) Many people who reload use non-jacket b...

Re: Carrying Gun and Knife

I can't find a maximum blade length in Minnesota state regulations about pocket carried folding knives. I understand that there are municipal ordinances that have been used as precedents, though. Minneapolis and St Paul each address pocket knife blade length restrictions, and are consistent in allow...

Re: Federal AWB Passed out of Judiciary Committee

Assault weapons ban dropped from Senate bill. 8-) A ban on assault weapons won't be included in major gun legislation set to take shape this week -- all but guaranteeing it won't pass Congress. http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/03/19/17373761-assault-weapons-ban-dropped-from-senate...
