Using Gun Broker

Those who have used Gun Broker.com, what are your thoughts on risk to the buyer? I am assuming that if the buyer has been on and active for a couple of years or more and he has good feedback it is a fairly safe bet, but just have never used them. I have ordered on-line in the past but only through g...

Re: Choosing a rifle scope.

The problem is that you have too many variables in your question. My 2 cents is that if you are looking for glass for your Ought Six a standard 3-9 x 40 is going to give you all that you would need and more. This will work for hunting whitetails in the woods at closer ranges to any shots you might n...

Re: .17 HMR Rifles ...A Few Questions

Not a fan of it myself, but there was a recent article in the outdoors section of the Star Tribune on Snow Shoe Hare hunting in late winter that touted this as the best round for that endevor to answer your question about what to hunt with it.

Re: Remington XR 100 Rangemaster

No experiance with this format but, it is based on the XP-100 pistol action which I have shot. Very smooth action. Very accurate. I have a friend who swears by this set up for silloette shooting.

Re: One in the chamber!

Here's my question. I try and swap out my magazines on a weekly basis to give the spring a break. However I always have one in the chamber and just leave it there. I've heard about magazine springs becoming weak after being loaded to the max, is there any problem leaving my GLOCK 19 locked and load...

Re: .45-70 reloads for handguns?

I knew I had come across some 45-70 pistol loads recently and couldn't remember where... I sat down on the john to think about it and it was looking at me from the floor right next to my feet. These loads come from the Februari edition of Shooting times. They are for a T/C contender with the 14-inc...

.45-70 reloads for handguns?

Just wondering if anyone in this forum has come accross any reliable recipes on loading the venerable .45-70 for handgun applications. With the T/C having been available in this chambering for several years one would think that someone has worked this one out. All the data I have found is for rifle ...
