Re: Gun store/ range permanently closed

This news did not surprise me in the least. I know multiple people who had bad experiences with the owner and refuse to go back. Their "trip to the hood" advertising promotion was beyond idiotic too. They lost me when, early on, they began referring to themselves as ‘OGC’. Speaking of idi...

Re: The absolute limits of gun rights?

If the ability to drop an airliner is the threshold for prohibition, everything with the ballistic capabilities of a potato gun, and beyond will be outlawed. (There was an incident somewhere in Britain in the past, where someone plotted to take out an airliner with a potato gun. Using the the ‘what ...

Re: Israel Eases Guns Restrictions Amidst Security Failures

I’m really surprised Israel doesn’t have a Swiss like system regarding arms. When I was in Switzerland for work, it was also the re-qualification period for many reservists with many dressed in their issued military gear carrying their government issued rifles, which they keep at home. I was able t...

Re: Israel Eases Guns Restrictions Amidst Security Failures

I understand all that. It's just with the history of Jewish persecution, regional instability and terrorism I'm surprised they don't want themselves and each other better armed. That is not unlike most American Jews, who tend to trust the gov’t, and subscribe to gun control, which I don’t get either.

Re: First parents in America charged in school shooting to be tr

Apparently if a juvenile commits a serious offense he and his father are strung up in public and flogged, side by side.

That was my first thought, given the epidemic of violent, armed juvenile terrorists.

Re: Forever chemicals’ in deer, fish challenge hunters, tourism

What are your thoughts on regulations around lead water pipes? Completely unnecessary I take it? Pretty much; yes. Read up on water treatment techniques, and look at the cross section of a removed lead water service line. Lead service lines haven’t been installed for almost a century. In that time ...

Re: My 50 Cal Exploded

Knowing almost nothing about SLAP rounds, I did a quick search of the topic. Every source was quick to advise against using saboted rounds with a muzzle brake not specifically designed for them. Given the shots were going wild, one wonders if the rounds were creating a restriction at the muzzle, and...
