Re: MN Suppressors

I think it would be foolish to invest much if any political capital into trying to legalize something which most gun owners think is nothing but a toy. Yes, they should be legal, if for no other reason than the loony pants wetting left thinks they're scary, but let's be realistic. How many in this ...

Re: SBR 300 BLK tips

Yes Scratch, you would adjust your OAL to fit the mags. Not always possible with the shorter, lighter bullets. Anyways, here's a picture to help me explain:

Re: SBR 300 BLK tips

The neck on a 5.56 round sits against the side rib in a mag, so the front of the round bumps out to the center when it feeds. Somewhere between the tip of the bullet and where it measures .308" it measures .250" with a .300 BLK. That's where you want the bullet to ride against the rib in t...

Biggest problems I've heard about is feeding. When you're making ammo for it you want the part of the bullet that measures .250" at the front rib on the side of your mags. And try using either different colored mags or plastic/metal mags for .300 BLK and 5.56 so you don't get them mixed up. I a...

Re: SBR 300 BLK tips

Mine is a 1:8 10.5" with a pistol length gas system. It's been flawless so far after 500+ rounds. A 7-8" barrel shouldn't be a problem as it was designed from the beginning to run that short of a barrel. Are you going to be reloading for it as well?
