If that is happening just from loading a round into the chamber, it's normal. ARs have a floating firing pin. Hence why hard primers are used in 5.56mm ammo.

I thought the subsonics were pretty cool out of my 10.5" upper. Kinda fun shooting my pistol poppers with a rifle. Functioned 100% as well.

Corrosive ammo isn't bad, only takes me about 20 minutes to clean my AK74 shooting the cheap surplus 7N6 from Fleet Farm. And I wouldn't worry about the gas tube on a AR shooting corrosive, they're stainless steel.

Too little lube could be a problem as well. I'd double check everything and look closely at it all. I will be shooting my 300 BLK for the first time today, hoping it all goes well.
