Re: Colt Python.....Who has 1...

Considering the python ceased general production in '99, you may have a tough time findding a new one. And if you did, you would pay a SEVERE premium. This. I have looked at a few threads on Sigfourm and a few guys have a few of them that are NIB and I am pretty sure some would carve out a teste be...

Re: mags cross-brand fit?

I would think yes. most 1911 mags should follow the same specs so they should all be compatible save for double stack Para Ordinance 1911s

Re: Need suggestions for a good garage pistol

Hi point C9 or JHP a 9mm or .45 they cost under $200 so buy a pair and if one stops working send it back they fix it free ship it back to you. All while you still have your spare at the ready.

Re: Carry gun suggestions requested

Currently have a Sig Sauer P6 it's a single stack 9mm. Great lil gun and I think comparable to the size of a Glock 19? give or take? It has a DA/SA Sig trigger. Because it was a West German Police issue it has a pretty heavy DA trigger pull but it is do able. Some need to have the feed ramps worked ...

Re: Alternative to chains for hanging steel

What about cable? Might be more likely to bend and flex than chain. Certainly in the same price point. You mean like this? Strad, How about something along the lines of this? http://www.amazon.com/Galvanized-Steel-Aircraft-Cable-Wire/dp/B002X4DCQU Sorry, I do not click on links. They tend to take y...

Re: Alternative to chains for hanging steel

Strips of old tires, or some 770 cord. 770 is the real **** deal. What about 550? isn't that supposed to hold what 550lbs or something from what I read on the interwebs. Assuming steel target is light enough hang it with that, the holes would probably have to be grommeted with rubber to keep from c...

Re: Changing it up.

Ideal would be a 19 but would take a 17 of course. There is a 17 local to me that I may be able to get the "good guy" price one so may go with that.

Re: Changing it up.

Don't forget the original post guys. Smokeater has CP, and that is why he can't use a 1911, because of the difficulty of cleaning one. Eric Oh Thank You Eric I see you got what I meant but for those who missed it CP means Cerebral Palsy. Because of it my right hand has a limited range of motion and...
