Re: Gun bans successfully enforced in Britain?

I don't feel like diggin', so don't ask for a cite, but I'm pretty sure London has been more dangerous than any major U.S. city since... well more or less since humans realized tomatoes weren't poisonous.

Re: So I Bought a Turkey of a Handgun...

Man, I've looked at those so many times! Just can't do it(even though I love trying oddball guns). To be honest, the "titanium" color looks more to me like silver spray paint.

Re: Gun bans successfully enforced in Britain?

and broken beer bottles. Not sure if you folks remember this, but there actually was talk of getting rid of glass "pints" over there. For a while after the ban (98?) England was only counting convictions for both gun violence totals and violent crime totals. In other words, if 51/100,000 ...

Re: Gun bans successfully enforced in Britain?

I have the basic human right of self-protection. You can attribute that right to any source which tickles your fancy (God, nature, 2ndA, bad attitude, whatever). Nothing can change the fact that i have the right (responsibility, actually) to protect myself and my family from violence. Since I'm a ti...

Re: Glock G20 Gen4

Gen 2 G20 owner here. Grips are clubby. Factory recoil spring had to beefed up to digest 175 HLTC WITH 10.0 grains 800-X. Mimics rather high energy muzzle blast with two illuminated fire rings 8 and 16" out. Gas velocity must be supersonic. Recoil not for the limp wristed. 6% of the Underwood ...

Re: Advice on securing my home defense shotgun

We're pretty high-tech around here, so be advised, not just anybody can pull this technique off. Tami keeps one under the bed. Keep in mind, we have little ones at 12 and 15. Getting the young one (12) to shoot his scattergun is like pulling teeth. Ya gotta beg, bribe and bully the boy just to shoot...

Re: Reloading .380

i used to reload gobs of it. Zero hasn't had bullets for the last couple years, so i kinda quit. Use the right dies though. Bullseye worked fine.

Be super careful about range brass. There's a couple funky little dumb-ass rds that are real close, but not the same.

Re: Gun Owners rally 5-20-2014 Richfield American Legion

Sorry if this has been asked, but is it kid-friendly? My 12yo son is stuck to my hip tonight.

Water-keel deeks

Any of you duck hunters need a big bag with a dozen deeks in it? They're hollow, water-keel from Fleet Farm about 20 years ago. The bag has just been sitting under some saddles in my barn since forever. I have no idea what they're worth, but I suppose i gotta put a price. There are 12 deeks, plus we...

This was a big deal around here - for a couple reasons. That might not be a wise bet. Although, many of the voices from back then are... no more.

Don't know if this has been posted yet or not. The Lakeville store (J&S or G&S, whatever) has been renamed Dakota Guns. Stopped by there today and was treated respectfully. Guy said it's under new ownership (or new management, I forget). Anyway, Might be worth a look. Certainly can't be any ...
