Re: Good over / unders

Nice buy. It will serve you well for many many years. I reload shotgun loads. To be honest for 12ga it's not worth it. And you won't find components any easier than ammo right now. Anything you shoot a lot you will want a progressive press. A MEC 9000GN is $775 (msrp) and that's probably the cheapes...

Isn't it illegal for the FFL to process it but legal for you to sell it personally? Where is Russtra when you need him?

Re: For Sale: Updated - Look out for 612-760-0971

Only two guns I've ever sold I sold at Lampi auctions. Got decent money even after fees and didn't have to deal with anyone. :D

Does their FIOD card require a NICS check?

The Google says yes. Both to get and to use.

Re: GOA or NRA?

My main focus is local so my only reoccurring donation is to Mn Gun Owners Caucus.. Though I am an NRA member it is mainly to participate in events and have my RSO cert.

Re: Osseo gun shop under fire after offering ammunition.

Have not gone there in years. Most of the people I shoot with have had bad experiences with the owner and refuse to go back. I shoot so little these days that I prefer to do it outdoors if I am going to make the time.

Re: 1911 ?

If I ever come across a Ronin I will probably buy it. However now that you mention it I do not really have any appropriate powders myself.

Re: 9mm bullets available

Xtreme seems to have stuff in stock but it's definitely higher than when I bought pre-pandemic. $59/500 for 9mm 124 gr round nose.

Last time I bought I had a 15% off coupon plus free shipping and paid $70 for TWO boxes of 500.

Re: 1911 ?

A couple years ago at the shooters roundup when the Ruger 10mm had just come out I shot both the Ruger 10mm and the Coonan 10mm. The Coonan was so much smoother and more comfortable. However no way to get a Coonan now and it was also twice the price. The Ruger was by no means a bad gun though and I ...

Re: Arnzen has 9mm

Sadly it seems like $20 a box is going to be going rate for 9mm for a while. Thankfully I do not shoot that much these days and have enough reloading supplies to get by for a while.

Re: AR pattern shotguns....opinions?

A friend bought the ATI AR-15 410GA. He tried to shoot skeet with it. Had all sorts of malfunctions. Sent it in and they replaced a bunch of parts. Now it usually makes it through a round of skeet but needs to be cleaned before it can shoot another. He bought it for the novelty, which is exactly wha...

Re: Primer differences for pistol

How about for subsonic only loads for 300 blackout? Pressure should be about the same as a pistol. I load both 300BO and 30 carbine. I don't really see why I couldn't use SPM primers in those cartridges. For true rifle rounds sure I get it. But these rounds both use magnum pistol powder and in my c...
