Re: Trump: If The French People ‘Had Guns’....

I would prefer to never be in that situation and more than likely never will be, but if I were, I would prefer to take my chances armed rather than not. If it were to allow me to egress successfully from the incident, perfect. I know I won't go down begging for anything but more ammo. I don't carry ...

Re: thermold vs. magpul mags

Tangodown uses a 20 round mag with a 10 round limiter in it to reach 10 rounds. They use a 30 round mag with a 25 round limiter to reach 5 round.

Re: I want to shoot TX hogs. What gear?

ar platform is great. .223, 300BLK, 6.8spc or .308 all work well. 300blk with a suppressor is awesome. 6.8 and .308 will obviously stot retch the range, but most shots are pretty close. Shot placement is key. Can't shoot them like deer. You are looking for a head / spine shot for DRT effect. Otherwi...

Re: Buying a scope on the Black Friday

There have been a few places, the one that comes to mind is europtics that was closing out the Vortex 5x20x50 Razor for $1199. This is at least $500 off low retail. It can be had in a MRAD reticle with 10MRAD turrets. It is an exceptional scope, great glass and a lifetime warranty. Cabelas has them ...

Re: cantilevered AR scope rings

It is more dependent on your preferred length of pull and the eye relief of the scope. I have a vortex Razor HD 1-6 mounted in a Bobro cantilever mount. The mount has great repeatibility or rtz and excellent ability to be mounted forward due to the RAzor's eye relief. That being said, I have Larue a...

Re: Maple Grove double tap

I am willing to bet this is a gang related shooting. One party left scene and went back to Brooklyn Park to report shooting.

Theater showing Straight outta Compton - isn't going to be a coincidence.

Re: First handgun purchase

I would go 9 over .40 as well. You cannot go wrong with Glock, just make sure it fits your hand. I would suggest going to Bills and renting a couple to try and then going to see Kate at Arntzen in Eden Prairie to actually purchase it.

Re: Mississippi River defensive gun use

After having worked at my place of employment for the past several years, I have zero sympathy for anyone involved in the thug culture. I believe it is a blight on our society and we would all be much better off if it could be eradicated. That might sound extreme, but I come by my opinion honestly....

Re: Mississippi River defensive gun use

Well done. It is all over the Star Tribune but they are spinning it as a great kid. What a bunch of BS.
