Precedent Established?

https://kstp.com/kstp-news/top-news/pro ... d-burglar/

Seems to be so.

Maybe you have to work for Mpls schools and be a black lady, to realize the full benefit, though.

I wouldn't want to be a test case, but it's still interesting.

MWCA Shows

Maybe someone in the know can answer: will there be more MWCA shows in the Cities, even though they seem to have been booted out of the Fairgrounds? Besides the show at the Civic Center in December, and MWCA doing one in St Cloud, I don't see any on the schedule, which leaves is with the smaller All...

Re: Military weapon mud torture test.

Been doing those on In Range (a youtube channel) for a long time. Clickbait, sadly.

Delinking metallic belted 30.06

I bought a sealed ammo box (250 rds) of belted FN 1959 30.06 ammo (ball, AP, ball, AP, tracer) to use in an M1. I've watched some how to videos online, but does anyone have a favored method for delinking this ammo without damaging it? I also saw an old Arf.com bit about belted ammo for M1919 machine...

Re: Pawn shop revolvers?

I bought a two inch Model 10 from Metro Pawn and Gun in Richfield some time ago. It's been a good revolver, locks up tight and not rusty. I probably overpaid for it at the time, but not compared to what the sticker might be today. They have had a decent selection there, however being closed weekends...

Re: Richard Marcinko Dies at 81

Met him once at a book signing of his at HarMar B&N. So long ago Jesse drove him to the appearance before he was governor. I remember people telling him he should run for the job... I have a photo of Dick and I (he's very short) but whoever took it didn't know how to use my camera and it's prett...

Re: How not to clear an open bolt

Look like an MG3, so Bundeswehr, maybe? Anyone recognize the cammies?

That is what an out of battery detonation looks like in 7.62. Hope he didn't lose an eye.

Pistol sights

Had a mild disagreement with my brother tonight. He doesn't agree that blacked out rear sights and a bright front sight are the way to go, thinking that bright front and rears is where it's at, with three dots like tritium, or even the Glock factory U notch and white dot front. I have found I shoot ...

Re: Cleaning a rusty barrel

There are restoration gunsmiths; one good one online is Mark Novak, whose Anvil channel I watch a lot. He has had a lot of success with boiling metal pieces, including actions and barrels, to stop rust. Have a look there and see if he's worked a similar problem. I'd say drop him a note, but he is ve...

Re: AR issues

Thanks, Rip. A new upper or a new barrel and gas block are likely in my future.

Re: AR issues

You have 2 uppers and 2 lowers. YES Upper #1 is a S&W, Upper #2 is a ?. Unk, built on an Aero lower Lower #1 is a KP15, Lower #2 is a ? Aero Your failure to feed and lock back issues happen when upper#1 is mated to lower #1. You don't have any issues when upper #2 is mated to lower #1 or when up...
