Re: Scope fell apart at the range

Vortex sent me a brand new Crossfire II 1x4 this morning. Will give this one a shot and see if it holds up. Time to head to the range.

Re: Scope fell apart at the range

Keep it new-in-box and sell it that way. Get more money. Put it towards a better optic. Thinking of doing this or use it until I can afford a better 1x4 or 1x6 and put this on my S&W 15-22. Unless vortex surprises me with a new 1x6 to convince me to stay with vortex. Not holding my breath though.

Re: Scope fell apart at the range

Decided to mount it to check out the repair. Turned on the illumination. Dull at highest setting. Figured the tech drained the battery. Put a new one in. NOPE. Its like its half way up. Also noticed the red dot is not centered as it was when I first bought it. Took it off the for sale section as I w...

Re: Gun Confiscation

Does Minnesota have anything in fine print that allows them to come in and remove guns?

Re: Savage 10/110 BA Stealth at shot show

Gunbroker prices are insane... idiots seem to be paying those inflated prices though. Be patient if it's what you really want, you will eventually find one. What caliber are you looking for? Still racking my brain on hat. I reload for 308 and have a AR10 and Savage bolt 308. But the 6.5CM sticks in...

Re: Savage 10/110 BA Stealth at shot show

Thanks for the detail review. Just did a search (for the heck of it). Of course. None around. Almost seems some a$#hole is hording them. Gun broker wants way to much for them. Can see why its called broker, go broke buying from those vultures. Local places want you to pay in advance and place the or...

Re: Savage 10/110 BA Stealth at shot show

Have read a fair amount of disgruntle owners on the hit or miss on the barrels. Flaws? What is your observation? From handling one, seems a very tight rifle, smooth bolt, but a bit heavy. Not for hunting but a nice bench rifle. With custom barrels out now, can still turn this rifle into a serious co...

Re: Savage 10/110 BA Stealth at shot show

You have a RPR? Which caliber? Lucky to find one. My brother in law got a 6.5CM and let me fondle it. Its definately a solid rifle. Well built. Am on so many lists to get one that I can't remember them all. Sucks playing the waiting game.

Re: Savage 10/110 BA Stealth at shot show

I have a Savage 10T and thinking of a XLR industries evolution HD chassis (http://www.xlrindustries.com/evolution-HD.html ) for it but will now hold on until I see these new rifles. Looks like $1200 list price so hoping $1000 at the store. If it doesn't pan out, then will upgrade my chassis.

Re: Savage 10/110 BA Stealth at shot show

Looks like the butt stock can be replaced with a PRS or something else. I still have one from using on my 50BMG I sold. Hopefully these come out more abundant than the RPR. Am vested in 308 reloading but the 6.5CM would be nice too. Hopefully Savage will update there web site to give details for eac...
