45-70 with Speer 405 grain projectiles

Just filler up with powder, level her off and jam a bootlit on top. Good to go.

Permit renewal April 2016 south metro

Permit expires 5/1 and I'm looking for a renewal this month in the south metro. Any suggestions?

Has anyone taken the courses from Burnsville Pistol Range?

Subsonic 357 data

Are you speaking to Clays specifically? Why not below 850 fps?

I'm new to .38 but my 158s are below 800.

Fleet Farm Will Only Ship Uppers To FFL

Guess supporting Stuart was worthless. Maybe he is the spoiled little rich boy Nolan said he was. Yeah.....let's just jump to conclusions as fast as we can. Thank you for providing this week's MNGT's "most ridiculous post". Saying Stuart Mills isn't pro 2A is like saying water isn't wet. ...

New Colt Sales

I believe this is called "loading" but may go by other names. It's good for the manufacturer as it broadens its dealer network and converts inventory to sale (dealer has to carry stock). Consumers still get the same access. The only group it impacts are dealers who need to determine if the...

Burnsville Winter Action Pistol League 2015-16

Best 8 is easy and seems to work.

Im not too worried about equipment failures. It's part of the game. Likewise, im not too worried about dropping a week (as much as I'd like to drop the week I plugged a bunch of no shoots)

Burnsville Winter Action Pistol League 2015-16

I think this is a case where the system isn't broke. Take the best 8 match scores and add them up. Simple, fair, competitive, fun. Done. :) I agree. I think the current system works and is simple enough for dummies like me to understand. If you really wanted to juice things up how about = (cumulati...

I want to shoot TX hogs. What gear?

458socom_impacts_2946.jpg This is my .458 SOCOM, basically a 45-70 in an AR-15, topped with a Leupold in 1.5X-5X. You can buy a complete upper for $400-$425. There was a whole set-up including optics at the Mankato Gun Show this past weekend for $850. Where can I get a complete upper for 400-425? T...

I want to shoot TX hogs. What gear?

I don't own an AR. I know, it's almost unAmerican.

I reload but pistol only. I think it will be a while before I shoot enough rifle rounds before I justify new dies, tool head, and all the other crap that's needed.
