RRA Predator Pursuit Upper

I'm getting the RRA Predator Pursuit upper as a Christmas gift to myself for shooting....uhm... for hunting....uhm, because I want one. I have the RRA National Match A2 upper right now. The Predator pursuit is basically the same upper in a flat top configuration, if I understand correctly. I've shot...

Re: reloading break even

You guys are skipping quite a few of the start-up costs. Knotty pine boards for the walls (who wants to reload in a regular old "room"). 6 2x4 boards. One sheet of 3/4 or 1 in. plywood. Lots of shelves. More shelves. Another T.V. Many big-ole buckets for brass. The list goes on. In ...

Re: reloading break even

I calculated the cost of a box of reloaded shotgun shells to a bit over $4, probably more now since the price of lead shot keeps shooting up. Walmart still has boxes of Federal for about $5. Considering that my MEC setup cost me over $600, I will have a hard time getting my money back out of that. I...

Re: Snubbys, the which one question

Don't forget Charter Arms Undercover (lite) or Mag Pug. They make a decent revolver these days. They're a bit easier on the wallet too than S&W.

Re: Snubbys, the which one question

Don't know if it counts as a snubbie but I like the look of the Ruger SP101(maybe in 327 Mag). Get some wooden grips, plenty of holsters available and you're in like Flynn. At the moment I'm very conflicted between buying one of these or a Walther PPK/s.

Re: S&W 396-1 Mountain Bite...

Very nice. It begs for some wooden grips too. BTW I like Mountain 'Bite' more than 'Lite' :D

Re: W.R. Case folding pocket knives

Buck does have a fair number of knives similar to the Canoe that are made in the USA. The Chairman Series, the Cadet series, Companion Series, Lancer Series, Select Stockmans, and a couple others. Buck's website might not be the most functional (hitting back doesn't always take you to the previous ...

W.R. Case folding pocket knives

I'm looking to get a new folding pocket knife, nothing tactical but something with more classic styling. I have a little Frost Cutlery knife with bone handle which I like very much but I need something a little bigger too. The Frost is about 3.25". Been looking around and the W.R. Case knives h...

What sort of trays are they? I recognize RAGGED's red MTM trays.

Those are styrofoam trays that our blood collection tubes are packed in. They hold a .45 nice and snug and best of all, totally free if you know your way around a hospital lab :D .
