Yep.
After reading the first sentence, it was practically inevitable.

Re: Burnsville Winter Practical Pistol League 2010-2011

Thanks to SkyRock and MrVvrroomm for the info. This sounds good. If you were to need set up assistance, what time would you like the help to show up? I know I can't make every match, but the days I can, I should be able to get there early.

Re: SOB holster

The ONLY reason there EVER was to carry SOB was so you could look cool like David Janssen in the 1960's detective movie "Tightrope". While David Janssen didn't sound quite right, I do confess to referring to the Google for the correct actor. From the 'golden era' of TV: http://www.youtube...

Re: 'Straw' gun buyers leave a bloody trail

"...Zapor said the ownership of every gun from a shooting in Minneapolis is now traced through the straw-buyer chain to the point where the weapon was last purchased legally. The straw buyers they snag face being prosecuted federally, he said...." This statement appears to me to be such ut...

Re: Chaska's Knight speaks about "sensible gun laws..."

He managed to get 'gun-show-loophole', 'military assault weapons', and 'armor piercing ammunition' all out in one sentence. I a bit surprised such a practiced individual didn't use the term 'cop-killer' bullets...and 'machine guns' at least once.

Re: ACLU finally defending ALL constitutional rights

Fine. Great. "It is unusual for the ACLU. But the ACLU supports all constitutional rights. We don't pick and choose." Translation: If we could pick and choose, we'd let this guy rot. Yep. Your translation seems to be supported by the article's next quotation: Brandon Hensler, the ACLU of ...

Re: 15-year-old son of deputy shoots burglary suspect

Yeah, check out the laws on this in TX. They aren't real concerned about your rights down there if you're breaking into someone's home. This story should be required reading for anyone in TX considering a fun and rewarding career in home burglaries. You're operating under the assumption they have t...

Re: Inexpensive FFL Transfer

Nothing in PO regs like that since you don't tell them what is in the package. See regs above. Everything I read said to inform the shipper that the shipment was a firearm. There were also references made to the USPS having the authority to open and inspect. GunBroker has a 'help' page with quite a...

Re: Inexpensive FFL Transfer

XD Ed: Does FedEx ship firearms Ground and which location did you go to? Ive read two different things in regards to their shipment policy. Mine is being shipped ground; 6lb package; declared value of $600; cost me $14.16 @ Fed-Ex Oak Park Hgts. I might have dealt with the USPO, but after making al...

Re: Inexpensive FFL Transfer

This is a timely conversation for me. Just this morning I needed to return to the dealer, a 22lr rifle acquired via GunBroker.com. (I am not a FFL holder, but the gun was being shipped to an out-of-state FFL holder.) After spending sometime online, I was reasonably certain what I wanted to do was le...
