Re: 2011 success thread

Shot a nice prong buck (6" tines) on Tuesday at 11 AM with my 357 Marlin.

One minute later a doe came by the same trail 40 yards away... too bad we were not in a bonus zone but I did shoot it with my camera.

Re: Deer Processing

It really isn't that hard to do it yourself. Check youtube for various methods. That is the best way. Otherwise you won't get your deer meat back and who knows how someone else took care of their deer. There is a processor in Grand Rapids on US 2 on south side of the road on west end that is a butc...

Re: Antlerless Lottery Results

Generally the DNR site tells you when and you get a post card in the mail if you get one.

My area this year is shooters choice.

Re: so the wife just said

Semi-auto 20 gauge. Example would be a Remington 1100.

Re: Deer hunting question

I personally would not walk around the woods on the first weekend of deer hunting. I stand hunt and has produced good results but you need to find a few deer trails that come together. I named my stand "Cross Roads" for good reason with 3 good shooting lanes one out to 70 yards the rest up...

A Marlin 1894 357 with Remington softpoints. Works great out to 65 yards so far.

Re: Problem in the cylinder?

Looks like that cylinder was not fully machined. Give S&W a call and they will fix it.

True and another reason is he is smart. The next president will have to make some tough decisions.

Re: Smith and Wesson 6906

My 6946 was my first carry gun and is still the gun I have the most rounds down the barrel at 8k without a single problem. They are great guns, good size, accurate and feel good in your hands. You can get some 30 round mags, smith 15 round mags even.

It is one gun I will never sell.
