Re: Can AR-15's be turned into NFA items by executive order?

Seems there is even more chatter regarding the BATF threatening to classify AR15 pistols (Stabilization Brace or not) as illegal Any Other Weapons. Does anyone know if this is true or potentially true? Given how many of them are in circulation, it seems implausible, but even if they were classified...

Re: Biden's Plan to End Gun Violence

High demand stuff like 9mm, 223, etc are either out of stock about everywhere, or selling at completely insane prices. Popular types of powder and small primers are just as bad, if not worse. No joke. Search "Small Pistol Primers" on gunbroker if you're keen on being shocked. The results ...

Re: Permit delays - MN Gun Owners Caucus needs your help

Reports are that getting a vehicle title also requires an appointment and the delays are weeks there too. Do you think we can expect some relief when "Covid" seems to be an accepted excuse for, well, almost anything? Most cities are requiring appointments, yes, but at least some of them h...

Re: ATF Places Some AR-15 Pistols with Braces Under NFA

Given the previous back and forth on braces, and the fact that braces have pretty much always been a wink/nod "haha it's not a stock, and I'd *never* shoulder it" end run around the SBR portions of the NFA anyway, I can't say that this is terribly surprising. The surprising part IMO is tha...

Re: 'Everytown' Staffer Admits the Group Is Scheming Voters

I've recently been getting ads on Pandora which attack MN Republican state senators on economic/tax policy stuff, never mentioning guns, and then at the end, "paid for by Every Town for Gun Safety Action Fund." Strikes me that if they're campaigning in ways completely unrelated to their co...

Re: First debate

I honestly gave up on watching. I got tired of listening to the two of them talk over each other and the moderator. Not sure I can agree on Joe Biden being a skilled debater - I don't believe a skilled debater would fake laugh and roll his eyes that much, call his opponent a clown, or say things lik...

Re: Minnesota Pistol Length

Is it even possible to acquire a Remington 700 action that hasn't been designated as "rifle" from the get-go? (I have no idea, but I can imagine this being a significant stumbling block for this ides.) The long and short of it is... yes. Long https://www.midwayusa.com/product/...

Re: Minnesota Pistol Length

Current considerations is actually to build from a bolt action such as a Remington 700, a folding brace, and about a 14” barrel. That should keep under 26”. Is it even possible to acquire a Remington 700 action that hasn't been designated as "rifle" from the get-go? (I have no idea, but I...

CCI 500 Primers and Blue Bullets 125 gr TC bullets for sale

Looking at what they're going for on gunbroker, their current value dictates that I offer up some of my "spare" primers and bullets for sale. CCI 500 primers are currently going for well north of $150 per brick of 1000 on gunbroker. I'll sell up to 3 bricks at $125/brick if anybody is inte...

Re: Kenosha/Rittenhouse Summary

In a just world the kid would be given a commendation. Well, intentionally going to a riot at all is pretty much the definition of "doing stupid things in stupid places with stupid people," and as such, it's pretty easy to argue that he shouldn't even have been present. There's also some ...

hard h2o wrote:We are not supposed to sell 1000 count bricks of primers.

I have never bought primers less than a 1000 count brick at a time, and when retailers break them up into 100 count sleeves and won't sell the bricks whole, I get annoyed and shop elsewhere, because that's just a pain in the hind quarters.

I am not certain, which is why I did not specifically claim that was true here in MN.

Re: Minneapolis police tell residents to obey criminals

Sadly, women have been (figuratively) getting the shaft on self-defense shootings involving rape, with courts consistently ruling that once a rapist succeeds, shooting him is revenge not defense. I've heard the argument made that rape/ sexual assault does not meet the 'death, or great bodily...
