Re: Shooting shows

While not necessarily similar...I do like the First Person Defender series. I watch them online, but I think they used to be somewhere on cable.

Re: Gun Show

I threw money at him and ran with a box of Girl Scout Crack. That warranted a smile! It was much the same for me...$9 for parking, $5 for admission to buy a $4 box of cookies from John. But on the bright side, I didn't have to get a background check for the Thin Mints...gotta love the 'gun show loo...

Re: Shot weight?

I'm sorry if this a extremely stupid question, but I just want to know what shot bushing I would need, I was planning on buying a Lyman 5th edition shotshell reloading book, would the answer be in there? I bought the book and it taught me enough to know that it wasn't going to be worth it for me. I...

Re: Sporting clays @ Metro?

H&H has a big tournament this weekend - you may want to call ahead. It was a mess there last night (3 of the 5 courses shut down).

Re: Need fun class for my wife

You might want to look into Date Night or Spy Date Night here:

I haven't tried it myself but read about it and seems like it might be a fun way to get the spouse involved.

Re: Changes at Minnesota Horse and Hunt,,Maybe

Sometime early last week they got all new controllers for all of the stands. No more goofy counter box, just a card that you put on top of the controller. They are also wireless, no more extension cords laying around. Everything's worked much better my last few times there since the upgrades.

Re: best small .380

Kahr P380 - good sights, nice trigger; but a bit more expensive.

Next in line would be the Ruger LCP - horrible sights; but very affordable.
