Re: Heather has been heard from again

Cornish, like many LEO, especially Tman , have an elevated opinion of themselves over the lowly citizenry. That demonstrates a lot when you make statements like this. Tman is one LEO who has not at all lost his sense of humor or humility about his role in life, he will even tell you how...

Re: ***** factory ammo for .30-06?

Reduced power is a 130 grain bullet which just looses too much energy took fast for long shots. It does work well for short distances. Three options. I have a low power -06 load in my book at home I can send you. Buy the low recoil stuff Post the rifle for sale and run to goose hill and buy one of t...

Re: WTB Spotting Scope

Try this one.

Life time warranty from a company known for making good amateur astronomy scopes. I am impressed with it for the money. Much better than I would have guessed for the price.

Re: Magnetic North Breakfast

I'm still only opposed to supporting a manager who seems to think we're a nuisance, and OCB maplewood is pretty blah food at that. I could lie and not pay their gratuity, but paying them anything is lying about my true feelings for them. I'm voting with my wallet. OCB maplewood will never get anoth...

Re: Advice needed for trap gun

The Browning Citori XT is a good entry level gun for serious trap shooting. Most guys don't really upgrade from that and I wouldn't want to pay a buck for every perfect 100 score shot with a citori. The Beretta 686 is sexier but considerably more expensive. After that we are getting into Ceasar Gue...

Re: Smith & Wesson gun smith.

the ejector rod is the second lock on the crane, or the hinged part the cylinder opens on, if the rod is unthreaded, it will bind the lock and put more pressure on the rear bearing surface and the cylinder bolt under rotation.

Re: Can Ruger firing pin be installed wrong?

They do chip on occasion, match it up to the pic. I had one that chipped and would pierce the occasional case
