I have the same experience as JJ. Settled on 125 gr Nosler BT. With VVn110. 12 in barrel pistol gets me 2 moa at 100 yards. I have harvested a number of MN whitetails with no problem with penetration amd expansion.

That is probably worth hanging onto as a collectable. You cannot even find a hunting magazine to read in their stores any longer...

I cannot speak to the Alex Pro. I have two Olympic rifles and am very happy with both.

I use a 300/221. This the wildcat that led to the 300 blackout. my load is a 125 ballistic tip at 2250 fps. I have been hunting with it for 10 +years. I am in the intensive harvest area and have taken north of 20 deer with it. From 10 to 186 yards (laser verified). It is a fantastic tool for the job...

I have a Jard. 3 lb,single stage. Absolutely love it.

Look at Marvel. I have one and it is extremely accurate.

I would suspect that the tapered case body of the .22-250 would be a nightmare to get to feed properly in a semi-auto magazine.
