Re: 9 year old girl shoots instructor with uzi

Apparently it's age and height that make you a competent shooter, not skills, supervision and training.

Reading some info from a local:

The range has implemented new rules.
Must be at least 12 years old and 5 feet tall, among some other minor changes.

Re: Bloomberg Targets Kroger Stores

They've already told them to pound sand.

"We know that our customers are passionate on both sides of this issue and we trust them to be responsible in our stores," the company said without elaborating.

Re: Ruger 10/22...

Yeah, most 10/22's are quite accurate out of the box... though some spend $1,000's on them.

Some upgrades I almost always do are:
Tech-Sights
Auto bolt release
Trigger group

On 3/4 of them I have left handed safeties.

Looking for 2 more... a Takedown and an International. ;)

Re: Minnesota resident - carry in North Dakota

After contacting 2 attorneys and speaking with a referral (ND police department permit instructor), I'm told as long as the state that issued the permit has reciprocity with ND, then you're good. (Utah, Florida, etc).

Re: Minnesota resident - carry in North Dakota

I just got off the phone with the attorney general's office and they agreed, a MN resident with a FL permit can carry in ND.

Re: Minnesota resident - carry in North Dakota

I believe what was referenced above was the requirement to get a permit, below is the reciprocity law which does not have the home state requirement. You can't get a ND permit with an out of state permit, only if your home state recognizes ND - that makes sense. According to the below law on the ac...

Re: Private Classes?

That's my business model going forward as well, I feel I'll have smaller classes - but hopefully more of them and people will be more comfortable learning with people they know.

Re: re: Shooting at Holiday Station in Arden Hills

Domestic violence knows no gender or orientation... +1... not sure why the sexual orientation of the folks involved matters in any way? It really doesn't, but the fact that they were a couple matters. Just like any other case, husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, it shows emotional attachment which ...
