Well, with my single stage lee press, I can make about a hundred an hour.. I've heard with the dillon, 400-500 an hour is pretty easy.. (I've gotta get me a dillon some day..)

It doesn't really take long to make a couple hundred rounds does it? I'm still don't have the money to buy mine yet, but I started buying a few of the other things I will need... Bullet puller, a good reload book, plus I'm saving all of my brass and any other brass I can get my hands on.

It took me about 20 min to run off 100 rounds, and Im slow, still doing a lot of checks, OAL , powder weight and crimp. and I don't have a good rhythm down yet ether.

John at the Gunstop is the single best resource for reloading. He sells you what you need, and he does it with good prices. No matter what some think, the 550 is the the press to have! Dillon's version of the Honda Accord! Why buy a Yugo of reloading presses in a Lee....? Hornady serves a purpose, but they just do not have the customer service. The reality is that Dillon's produce quality rounds and retain their value, that can not be said of any other brands.........

For you noob's do not forget about light coat of lube makes loading handgun rounds even slicker!

F....97 your time will come! John will take care of you!

The 550 is a GREAT press for everything .

I Could not agree with more - excellent.

And BTW John Walton is absolutely the best most knowledgeable person in reloading that I have ever encountered aside from one guy....

John is a wonderful resource.
