Cheap a$$ digital scale

Well after selling my Lee Anniversary Loader, I went and bought one of those $10 digital scales made in china, thinking wow this cool, I didn't do to much loading, just 9mm at 4.6 grains, well I went to a heavier bullet and had to back the powder down, I started small increments adjusting my powder bar and rechecking the weight-no difference I adjusted and adjusted till all of a sudden I was at 3.1. hmmm so I start turning it up and it jumps to 4.6 again. this cheap a$$ thing would not measure anything in between, I could set the loaded case very gently and it would read 3.1 then pick it up and set it down normal and it would go back up to 4.6. Its total junk, in the trash it goes, tomarrow I'll go get another Lee safety scale, its very touchy but to me thats a good thing.

Which is why digital scales.generally tend to suck. I still think the dillon scale is fine for 99% of reloading purposes. BamBam you lucky you didn't have a BoomBoom

That 505 is actually made by Ohaus. When I opened up my Rockchucker Supreme (a couple years ago) I was surprised by the quality of the scale.

Ok so I went and bought my lee safety scale, which I used before and was very comfortable with, you could add a couple of powder flakes and the pointer would move. that said, before this I loaded 124g gold dot HP at 4.6 with the cheap ass digital scale, this is for self defense ammo, I know the answer to this but throwing it out there. I think I need to pull all the bullets and reload them, question is do I need to re size the cases? the primers are all ready pressed in and I cant re size with the primers in with the Dillon or at least I don't think I can. Iv'e never tried to push out a live primer and don't think it would be anywhere near safe.

Just remove the de-priming pin from the sizing die. Easy.

I've pushed out more then a few live primers.. I just make sure I go REAL slow.

The only really good electronic scales for reloading purposes are these to. Nothing else comes close period!

I'd suggest you purchase gravity beam scale, and use that for charge verification. That's my .02cents
