Natchez has Winchester primers that are on sale and I'd like to place an order. Anyone want to split that hazmat/shipping charge for someone living/working around the western suburbs of Mpls?
Currently, large pistol primers (Winchester, possibly others) are typically $36, but they're around $28. I'm just about out, and if we can make this a win:win by sharing the cost of shipping/hazmat then it's fine by me. I've never done this before, but I see it going down like this: You tell me the (reasonable) amt of the components that you'd like to get and I order them. We plan to meet somewhere after I take delivery (i.e.Home Depot parking lot, where ever) and you pay me for the primers/powder + your half of the shipping and hazmat. When I ran it through their shipping calculator, 10 boxes of primers and 2 lbs of powder were about $17 for shipping + the $25 hazmat.
I dunno if this really makes sense, but I thought it might. I could always buy locally, but there have been a few bad customer service experiences and, unfortunately, I feel compelled to buy outside my local market. PM if you have any suggestions or know anyone already doing this. Even with the shipping/hazmat included the costs to order online are quite a bit cheaper than local. Just trying to make it a bit sweeter. Please let me know!
Thanks!
