You might be surprised how little powder it takes to operate some guns. A lot of the loads guys use to make 125pf for "gaming" are well below the minimum load on charts. What caliber are you loading for?
Not only is this true but one thing I have noticed is that different manuals have way different data. My current charge for . 44 mag is 15.5 grs of AA #7. For some manuals this is the minimum. Others I have read said that 14.3 grs is the minimum. In one weird case my 15.5 grs was the max load! I would just shoot a few rounds and see how it goes. If your gun runs and you want to save money on powder and thats all you care about then stick with it. I used to under charge my .44 mag loads with tight group and still had quite an accurate load with lead bullets. (Cue the seismic sam rant).
