Last time I sent a gun back to Ruger ... it was a Blackhawk ... that screw that holds the ejector-rod housing on? ... ya, it sheared off! ... got the gun back 7 days after I sent it!... I doubt that's normal?!

Otherwise, ya might load up a few rounds with some Federal 150's?!

Quit saying that man!!! i HAVE THOUGHT MANY A TIMES ABOUT GETTING ANOTHER BLACK HAWK!!! I shot my 5.5 inch back hawk better than my 9.5 red hawk!!

Are you seating the primers fully? Do they go off the second time you try to fire them? If the primers are not seated fully, they will move when struck and not fire. The second time you try to fire them, they will usually go off because they have been fully seated in the primer pocket. This has been the problem with 90 % of the primer problems I have had. I did have problem with an HK USP where the firing pin hole would become filled with residue after about 500 rounds and would need to be cleaned.
