What cartridge would you like to see reintroduced?

A place to discuss calibers, ammunition, and reloading

For the pistol cartridges, I would also like to see a resurgence of the 9x23 Winchester.

For Intermediate cartridges, the 8mm short (7.9x33).

For hunting, the .30 Newton.

I'd love to see a gun come out that would allow you to shoot the 44 Automag again. The DE could easily do it, perhaps unmodified, but it's a boat anchor for just a plain 44. A Coonan 44 Automag would meake me seriously think twice about buying one.

41 Action Express was very cool for a short while, with the plus of being able to shoot two calibers with a barrel and mag change, and full power 41AE loads were no joke. Then the 10mm came along, and then the FBI Agents with sore wrists started crying, and then the unholy 40 Short & Weak was born, and that was the end of the 41AE.

And just for the sound of it, and general historical funkiness, would there be any better choice than the 44-95 Peabody "What Cheer" cartridge?? Plus it's about thw weirdest case design ever...

The 22 Savage High Power with the original 70 gr round nose bullet. The current spitzer style is too long for the twist rate and it tends to keyhole.

25 Rem is a close second, I can resize 30 Rem cases to make it but it would be nice to have the actual headstamp to prevent confusion. Same could be said for the 32 Rem.

44/77 and 45/60 would also be nice. There are some small shops putting these out but availability is very limited and variable.

6mm Lee/Navy would also be nice, the one place I've seen it advertised is still on backorder- two years later.
