Thanks, OldmanFSCA, for the lesson

I spent some time with OldmanFSCA tonight learning the ropes of reloading. He took a lot of time to lay out the basics and answer all the questions I dreamed up. Though I was pretty well versed on the concepts, having had a hands-on session with someone that experienced was a great benefit. I'm certainly no expert now, but maybe I'm not quite so much of a neophyte.

My son was along and he was thoroughly impressed with the process that he previously only knew as 'the factory makes it and I buy the box from the store' point of view. He was very proud to process his own rounds and then fire off a couple. It was a great evening. I suggest getting in touch with Doug if you have an interest in learning more. He's great.

Thanks for coming out, and putting up with the phone calls I received, and with me only having 3 hours sleep out of last 48.
(Wife in hospital after major surgery.)

I truly enjoy meeting new shooters and helping them learn how easy it is to reload and what proper equipment to purchase.
We loaded 100 357Magnum rounds using WSPM, 296, Horn140XTP.
Fired 12 rounds after dark.
Loaded 9 rounds 223 - shot 5 after dark.

Fired some tracers - 1 went wild off course.

Thanks for the help loading 357Mag for me.

The tracers were quite eye-opening. I had no idea bullets could veer off course that badly from hitting frozen ground. Pretty cool to see at night. :D

And thanks for still having a session with us even when you were dealing with your wife's situation.
