I have a pile of 158 gn lead semi-wadcutters I want to load up in .38 or .357 to shoot out of my New Vaquero. I don't care about speed or accuracy for this one.\; I just want some good smoke. Any extra-smokey powder recommendations?

Try missouri bullet company. The lube on their bullets make them really smoky. I was using the one day at bills with the same powder as my xtps and people were laughing. i clouded up the whole range. I know its not powder but it will smoke

I know! I was all by myself and the wind was whippin' yesterday. I'll admit that my first shot was left handed with my body and head behind a tree. I get a little uneasy when I try new loads. I'll get pics when I get some more loaded up and I get out again. Maybe a quick video too.

After you charge the case, top it off with car fur. Smokes well, smells good, but leaves goop in the barrel.
