I never saw prices that bad at FF, even now. The .45 ACP I bought from them several weeks ago was $22/box, not bad overall.

And even when things "normalize" politically, it'll still take a long time for the ammunition supply/pricing to normalize. And it probably never will fully normalize to pre-panic prices, just like how prices on certain semi-automatic rifles never went below pre-2008 panic prices.

Wolf Gold soft tip hollow points. They were out of FMJ, and I was just target shooting to try out his new XDs. A spendy one time one box purchase is ok, but I wouldn't stock up on ammo at that price. BTW they all feed and shot fine through the XDs.

I've been through that with Cabela's before: The sale goes through completely. then 3 hours later the 'out of stock/ unavailable' email arrives.

Hopefully you're planning on buying some other stuff as well, as the shipping costs for a box of ammo does ugly things to the price/ round.

I’m having them shipped to the store (no shipping charge) and it’s only a 10 minute drive for me. Gives me another excuse to go out there and snoop around.
