Yes, when I first started reloading 45ACP, I bought 500 rounds of once-fired 45 for I think $20 at Wolf's Den. Good people up there.

Ive purchased 1000 .45 range brass from BPR for about $50, ended up being more like 1200, but about 50 of them were worthless. They have other calibers as well.
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

The last time (a few months ago) I asked about used .45 brass at Gunstop John laughed and said "good luck". Apparently the scrap value is really high right now or something like that.

Soon we'll be picking up 22 rimfire brass for the recycling valve. I know guys that now pick it up and put it in thier scrap brass bucket.

Just a couple years ago I never picked-up 9mm or 40 SW brass because I could get it cleaned and seperated for $10 per 1,000.
Because I care, I carry.

Some guys swage their own jacketed .223 bullets using .22lr brass cases as jacketing material.

Oakdale sorts and auctions off brass. When they sort, they get a certain amount they consider pure scrap. Someone told me they are getting about $85 per five gallon bucket for it.

the last time I was in BPR there was brass for sale. I think better deals can be found on line with buying in bulk you can get some decent deals with flat rate boxes. probably cheaper then driving all over!
