They had more thing morning, actually they added a lot of ammo this morning as well for a good price, including 9mm. I have been waiting on .22lr for some time and saw they had 1k round boxes and 325 round boxes for 5 cents a round so picked some up. Hopefully with that price point and multiple brands it shows some more is starting to get to the big stores.

So the 1K boxes from this AM, does yours show up as "backordered" now? Mine didn't earlier and now it does.

Same here. Couldn't believe I made it through checkout without them being backordered. Then the confirmation email came, stating the opposite. At least it says they should ship on the 25th.

Same here actually, but I'll take that. A backorder at normal pricing is very much something I can plan my plinking with. I still have some 9mm on BO from them as well.

If you are local you might be able to get to the store in Rogers in time to buy it off the shelf. The shelves were packed (literally) this morning with bulk packs in Remington, American Eagle and at least one other brand. One bulk pack limit though.

Just stopped by Rogers. They are restocking. Another couple of cases of Rem .22 packs going out. I wouldn't say their shelves are flush with anything in demand, but they have a little. Also had decent powder selection.

Must have just put that out. Was there at 6 and all they had was the 100 rd pack of hyper velocity stuff. and the .223 is all at 50 cents a round, ouch.

The 5.56 bulk I bought has a shipping/pallet label on it from Jan 2013 - shipped to a Cabelas warehouse. I wonder how much they are hanging onto in their warehouses for special needs like this...

They're not dumb. Both Cabela's and GM were holding back inventory for this GM grand opening event so they had some to stock the shelves with. The guy I talked to at GM Thursday night said they had something like 3 pallets of ammo coming per day for the weekend event. Maybe this will finally soften demand around this part of the state?
