I have been using their 200gr 45acp for awhile and I am happy with it. If you have used precision moly bullets, they are similar but some are a different profile. The 200gr 45ACP are kind of different, they are like a SWC but with a rounded nose.

Anyway they perform sort of like lead as far as your loading manuals are concerned. The advantage over lead is less die cleaning and hopefully less lead exposure, less barrel leading. The advantage over FMJ's is lower price.

From a cost perspective they are very competitive with regular hard cast bullets. The problem with using any non jacketed bullet is fouling! The polymer coating helps deal with that. But, there are caveats to using moly/poly a slower burning powder.....then a similar wt lead bullet. Always good to support a local business!

I find the new lubes rarely leave fouling behind that a little solvent and a few brush strokes will not remove, I am much more skeptical of poly or moly anything in my barrels as I have tried them and never really found anything that will easily remove them. The poly coating like on Wolf or some ofthe chinese Tiger ammo is almost impossible to remove, short of physically taking a scraper to the excess left behind in the action, and wearing out a stainless brush in the bore....

DO they sell a plain alox lubed bullet?

These have been around for a long time as Master Blaster Bullets.... The Coating is rarely a problem.... Just don't hot rod any cast or coated bullet these are meant for practice and competition.
