Good for you minnhawk.
Learning to reload opens up a whole new world regarding shooting.
I have about as much fun in my reloading room as I do on the range.

My 22-250 doesn't like anything. The only load I got to shoot was something like a 55gr Hornady SPWC at about 3000fps. Everything else was 1.5MOA+. But that one load works well, not super fast but oh well. My 243 will shoot anything but likes 65gr VMax, 70gr Blitzkings and 75gr Speer HP's the best.

Mine is just a 700 SPS with the standard weight barrel.

I was down to my last two .40 S&W projectles in the box, and didn't like having a mostly empty box take up valuable shelf space. I reload on a single stage, so setting up didn't take much time at all. In fact, I did it right after I finished loading the .454 Casulls.

I think the rifle is just shot out. The barrel wont stabilize anything heavier than 55 gr bullets and with those yo you have to jump the bullet appx 1/4 mile to the lands. My ES was all over the place shooting this thing. Anyone else ever find velocities spread out radically when jumping bullets a long ways? I must have tried 20 different loads yesterday with bullets from 40 to 55 grains, various powders and charge weights. My velocity extreme spreads were from 50-80 on every load I tried. Then tried a 69gr SMK's just to see if they would stabilize. Loaded .005 off the lands my ES dropped to 16fps. Every single powder charge was hand weighed on a calibrated 10-10 scale. Cases are supposedly once fired Winchester, full length sized and sorted by weight and I am using CCI BR2 primers.

I have 8 primer tubes loaded with WLP, the 45 ACP brass is cleaned, the 1050 is set up and ready to go. Sometime after supper I will dump my first load of brass in the case hopper, put bullets in the MrBulletFeeder and crank out 800 rounds of 45 for the next 4 bullseye matches. I should be all done and cleaned up by 8:00.

I intend to begin loading the only round I dislike reloading. The Dreaded .380 Auto. Their small size always aggrevated me!

I'm hoping that since I now have my Loadmaster press operational, it will make loading 2000 of these little goobers, much easier and faster. I should know by tonight

The hardest part for me with the 380 was getting a small enough powder charge to meeter reliably, Once I got that I feel it is the easiest round to make.
