Was it the Remington Golden's again? They seem to be getting mostly that lately.

They had those and the CCI Blazer bulks of 500. I bought a box of both but had to use my persuasion skills at the register...

Hudson had both kinds as well around 4:00. Wife was able to buy one of each about 4:15. A manager was there in the aisle directing traffic a little while before that when a friend got there. While she was picking up a pair, a different manager was also getting one of each and a couple of employees were doing the same. The friend said they were all gone within about a half hour when he went to go back for another round.
$43.xx with tax for 2 bricks, much more reasonable. Wife said the guy in front of her being checked out saw her with the bricks, asked her if there was more and then he just walked away to go get one, mid transaction. Desperation?

Lakeville Fleet farm is out... I was in the area so decided to drop in to see if I could grab another box but the shelf was cleaned... So I bought Tannerite instead! ;)

Same with the Oakdale FF; no one there has ever been able (willing?) to give me any indication of when they expect more ammunition of any caliber to come in, and I have not seen .22LR there in the last 5 or so months that I've been at least occasionally stopping by. They've only VERY rarely had any 9mm either, and so far have not had the powder I've wanted at all. The best I've been able to do was to pick up some small pistol primers once.

From what I've heard (here and elsewhere), the contents and scheduling of deliveries are on a need to know basis for security reasons. When the workers tell you that they do not know what they're getting until they see it with their own eyes I tend to believe them.

Considering the overall level of clerk knowledge in general I wouldn't expect them to know the delivery schedule.

Gotta say I'm skeptical of this, as the folks at Gander Mountain in Woodbury have informed me (and judging by the crowds, others) of their ammo delivery schedule. Why would it be an issue of security for one retailer and not another?

When the workers tell you that they do not know what they're getting until they see it with their own eyes I tend to believe them.

On the other hand, I'll absolutely believe that the workers don't know *what* they're getting until it shows up - that's quite common in retail. It's the when that I'd be willing to believe they're keeping to themselves.
