Does this revelation then mean that I *should* be able to use the ~15000 or so primers that also found themselves underwater? To be honest, I don't care a whole lot about the reloaded ammo but the .22LR and the primers are expensive to replace. All of my powder is neatly organized and well off the ground. My primers and ammo were all on the first and second shelves of some industrial shelving. Just in case you did not know, everything has now been moved to the upper two shelves.

Place your 22 ammo and primers in their plastic trays out in the sun for an afternoon. Load up some ammo and take it to the range. If you get mis/hang fires you'll know to dump the rest.
I will never apologize for being an American.

Ammo salvage operation

Just be paranoid about hang fires & squibs. I shot up some old carry ammo that may have gone swimming a few times and knew something was wrong when it didn't hurt to shoot my LCP. I tossed the rest.
