I am still perplexed that so many are still obsessed with finding .22lr ammo. If you would bother to look outside of the Twin Cities you would find it in abundance. It's not a national shortage. It's a local phenomena. Look outside your comfort zone.

I'm a little perplexed too since it seems you can walk into Cabalas at any time now and find some. But at the same time I've got some relatives in various parts of Michigan that can not find any either so it's not just local. I'm hoping that if the shelves stay stocked at Cabalas that within a month the shelves will be stocked everywhere.

Maybe getting better but I do stop in the Fleet Farms in Alex and Fergus every other week for the last year and have seen none, so I think while it is getting better, it is still an issue and not just in the metro.

There is more.22 hitting the shelves..... and if you can stop at 3 Walmarts on the way to work everyday , hit a Dicks, and Fleet farm at lunch everyday and hit Cabelas and Gander on your way home from work everyday, then hit Joe's and Capra's on the weekends, well then you can find it regularly!!!. If on the other hand you are a mere mortal, and can only stop once in awhile to look for .22...well your screwed.

Cabela's in Nanaimo, BC Canada, has piles of .22LR. Bucket of Golden Bullets $99.95 Canadian, or about $75 US. CCU Mini Mags. $8.99 CDN per 100.......

Now, if I could just figure out how to get it south of the border......... I guess next time, I will dig up ATF forms BEFORE I come!!!!!!!

If I were a conspiracy theorist, I'd start to think FF has an enemy or two out there, as they clearly have had the lowest supply over the last 2 months than any other larger outlet.
