Some Federal Automatch 325ct packs showed up on MidwayUSA earlier today. Surprisingly, there is still some available.

Price is not awful for the product but shipping would burden it. But if you're buying other stuff anyway...

Anyone still have a link to those ammo search engines? My old laptop fried out and I lost all my favorites encluding the three main search engines people use to find ammo sales.

I don't know which stores those search engines check but Wal-Mart took their ammo (at least .22) offline back in June so the only way to know if WM has any is to actually go there.

Not me, but this is from another member here who is on another Forum we use:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I was at a gunshop in northern mn this weekend. They had 500 bricks of blazer 40 gn .22lr for $35. I asked is there a limit? They said no and they had a ton of it. So I hoarded some, actually a lot. Felt a little bad so I purchased a rem 11/87 that they also had a great deal on that was used. So if you look it is around for a good price 22 that is.

OK i am a hoarder, I went back north and stopped into the same gun shop I got a great deal on a sh** of pile 22 LR. a few weeks ago. They had it again, so I took 5000 (1 case) Blazer 40 grn. $35/500. As I drove away my wife asked me do you really need it? I said not really, but we do not know if we will not be able to get it or the anti gunner's put a ridicules tax on it. So I now consider myself a hoarder. After I have all the ammo I could ever need I will go into a hoarder group therapy I promise.

I just got a huge long over due shipment of 40 gn blazer 22 lr. As I said it is not at the whole sale that the price is going up. That is, its not the manufacturers gouging. My cost $2.29 box of 50. 500 brick $22.90 that is the same price as 3 years ago when I checked my records. The problem is its just so hard to get so the dealers can sell it for what ever they want. Why not, many of their customers will just put it up on the internet and make more money per box than the dealer who has over head. So I really see what is happening and why. I need so much for my classes to train with that I do not sell it as I never know when the next shipment will come. Just an update.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

22LR ammo is available IF you are willing to pay for it.

Personally since my children no longer live at home, my 22LR ammo usage is next to nothing. Lately I have shot far more 50BMG Target ammo than any 22LR ammo = definitely Sick isn't it and partially because I've sold or gifted most of my 22LR rifles to my children.

(I still have 5000 Blazer 22LR in storage for which I paid $167.50 with shipping included, and a 50cal ammo can about 1/2 full, far less than I normally would have but more than I currently would use.)

Keep your eyes open - it is becoming more available - at higher prices - I'm waiting for $12.00 / box of 525 to be available.

Thanks for posting, think I missed this one. Shows in stock but gives an out of stock message when I try to add to cart.

My issue with 22 isn't so much the availability or price, but that some of it is junk. If it turns my guns into single shot pistols I don't care if the ammo is free. I have some Win LF (Lucky if it Fires) that won't feed in a bolt action and I can throw it more accurately than it fires.

Yep, I've noticed that quality control on a lot of brands seems to have suffered based on what I'm seeing at the range and the number of unfired (but struck) rounds I'm picking up off the floor. Winchester is one of them.
