How many years is this now? Over 4 years? This is getting a little stupid. I've found enough (reasonably priced) .22lr to satisfy my needs but I haven't seen it on the shelf at Wal-Mart in over 6 months (though I've only looked 10 times or so).

Are the un-licenced resellers still trying to artificially raise the price by buying all and (unsuccessfully) putting on sale at gun-shows for triple Wal-Mart price?

Reed Outdoor Fair has all the 22 you will ever need. 325 Fed Automatch 19.99 no limit. While about $2 more than walmart you don't need to drive around to find it and you can buy as many 10 box cases as you want, they had a pallet of it along with other brands at slightly more. Clearly it is out there if companies want it.

That's still double the price of a Bucket 'O Bullets (a coworker scored two in the SE metro within the last few weeks) and even if it's on-par with Wal-Mart price, stick them with it... they probably don't even have a gun to shoot it out of and have been part (most) of the problem. Only buy if the scalper is taking a loss from Wal-Mart price. My co-worker said their local Wal-Mart was super stocked with mini-mags and stingers this week (beyond the allocated shelf space and stocked in the space of other calibers).

Yeh yeh yeh. Get them bucket of bullets, cause you can find them anywhere and everywhere. $160 is only .08 per round for 2000 "good" quality fire every time little b u l l e t s. Better than WM price taxed. And I've never seen the almighty Troy Landry mini bulk packs there. Jeez, was just trying to share a good deal to get more than the alotted "3" per.
Cheers

I agree, it is a good deal. Would split that with you but I am on a quest to rebuild my 1911 fund.

I need a couple of boxes of CCI Standard Velocity.
Has anyone spotted any recently at the stores?

Or does anyone have a couple they'd be willing to sell/trade?

TIA

Capra's had a pile of them when I was in there the other day. I don't remember price. Some of their 22 is good price and some not so good. All depends on what they had to pay for it.
