We will need a picture of this round.

How far does it go in if you push the bullet in by hand? How about against a table?

If you are near Edina, I can give you a hand. I have a Lee 4- Hole Classic Turret and Lee dies. From your description, it sounds like you may not have your resizing die set correctly, or you could possibly be flaring your brass too much. One other reason could be you're seating die is pushing the bullet to deep, before you crimp the case. If I can help further PM me, and I'll send you my home number and I can possibly help talk you through it.
