tumbiling primrd brass

I have a bunch of 45 auto brass that I primed several years ago, it has tarnished and turned dark, would it be safe to tumble this? I know some of the media will get into the flash hole, but I would think the flash of the primer would push it out. What do you think?

I wouldn't recommend it. Pretty brass isn't worth the risk of hang/miss-fires.

I've done it. But kept it separated for practice only. Never had a issue.

You can tumble it after reloading with corn cob and some polish.
That's what remanufacturers do.
